Hello
world,
My name is Tim Troppoli but everyone calls me Double-T. My
family just got 56k AOL which lets me surf the web at the speed of
light!!!
I saw a lot of really cool sites on AOL and wanted to make my own.
There were a lot of neat video game sites and I didn't think that I
would be able to compete with
pages like videogames.com and
nintendo.com. I love video games more than anything and my room is
littered with catridges, back issues of GameFan and a bunch of strategy
guides (Versus Books are the bomb!).
So, I wanted to make my mark on the world wide web and maybe just
change the entire world. I know video games have this power!! :-)
My idea involves playing video games for a long time without sleeping.
Dubbed "video game endurance challenges," I will play games with my
friends and raise money for charity. "How?" you ask? Well....
My dad just got a new scanner for work and I have my trusty Polaroid
camera. I'm going to play through a video game and I'll take pictures
of the TV screen and put them to this homepage regularly! It'll be like
you're all right there watching me play! Then you guys can send
donations to the charity (I'll need to check the phone book for the
address-- I don't have it yet) and give me a call at my home phone
number: (323) 555-4843 when you donate! I'll write your name on this
web-site when you do and you can be forever immortalized in
cyberspace!!!
I think this will be a great idea to show the power of video games and
the internet! Maybe we could even get recognition from President
Clinton if we raise a lot... that'd be out of this world!
I'll start on the first playthrough tomorrow, my parents need to use
the phone now.

All Stars Endurance Challenge!!

going to be playing Super Mario All Stars on the Super Nintendo to
raise money for UNICEF. All my friends trick-or-treat for UNICEF but I
am going to play video games to show I am the best gamer in
cyberspace.
Okay,
let's start the endurance run! I'll be putting pictures on the homepage
and captioning them so it's like all you guys are really there.

Wow! All my friends who go trick-or-treating for pennies will be so

UPDATE: I called UNICEF to see if they got my
donations and they said that they only got $5.00 from us. This is
probably a mistake so I'll keep everyone updated on the status of the
donations.
I'm looking
foward to more video game endurance runs. You guys have shown me that
the power of the world wide web is limitless. :-)
